Hi! I’m Amanda, the artist and tea lover behind The Scribblist. I bring to life vibrant, hand-painted watercolor stationery and gifts designed to bring joy to life’s celebrations. Our collection includes greeting cards, art prints, tea towels, and paper goods featuring original illustrations and playful lettering. Each design is thoughtfully crafted with saturated colors, painterly textures, and a warm, whimsical feel.
Whether it’s a playful birthday card or a keepsake tea towel, every product is made to feel personal, meaningful, and worthy of display. Printed in small batches on premium materials, our products combine artistry with quality to create pieces that customers love to give, keep, and treasure. Yes! We offer free standard U.S. shipping on orders of $75 or more (before tax and after discounts). Orders under $75 have shipping calculated at checkout based on size and weight.

Amanda loves to paint your beloved pets, homes, and the special people in your life. We are thrilled to offer custom portraits in gouache and watercolor, which are available to order here. Once you purchase your desired subject and size, you will submit a reference photo via email. Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion of custom artwork.

We are based just outside of Portland, Oregon. While we are primarily working within the Pacific Northwest, we are happy to travel domestically and internationally for murals and live painting bookings. Reach out - we’d love to hear from you!

All of our designs begin as a painting. Amanda uses traditional watercolor and gouache (an opaque watercolor) to create the artwork that can be found on everything from greeting cards to tea towels and ornaments. We work with production partners here in the US to create high-quality products we are proud to use ourselves.
