Gift Giving Highlight: Kids

I am a dog mama and proud auntie, and I love spoiling my sweet nephew. Instead of a big list of toys you could purchase that bring momentary joy, I wanted to do something different and highlight two of my favorite go-to gifts for children. These are both unique, thoughtful items that are sure to bring a smile to their little faces!

Budford and Moosh

Created by Sara and David Furnal, “Budford and Moosh: The Great Zoomie Zoo Caper” is a MUST have for every kid on my list. It is a story of friendship and that emphasizes that kindness and determination can go hand in hand.

Based on two real-life rescue pups, Budford, a perceptive and fuzzy dog, and Moosh, his curious dachshund brother, love going on adventures together. In this delightfully illustrated book, the pups head to the zoo with their dad for Budford’s birthday where an unexpected adventure involving a monkey named Howard awaits them. The kids will love seeing all of the different exotic animals they meet along the way!

Available on amazon.com or http://www.budfordandmoosh.com/, $7.99 for paperback.

cuddle and kind

Besides being absolutely adorable, these heirloom quality dolls serve a greater purpose. For every hand-knit doll sold, cuddle+kind gives 10 meals to children in need. The hardest part is going to be choosing which doll to gift! My personal faves are Sebastian the Lamb, Benedict the Bunny, and Noah the Dog. They also offer wonderful bundles if you just can’t choose one!

Available at www.cuddleandkind.com, from $52.

Grab both and you’ve got the perfect holiday gift! Who doesn’t want to cuddle up with their new favorite stuffie and read a good book??
